Year 8 Leavers’ Dinner
Our Leavers’ Dinner was held on Thursday 6th July, a special event designed to celebrate our leavers’ hard work and achievements.
The evening started with a drinks reception on the lawn, allowing pupils, parents and teachers to enjoy the beautiful summer sunshine. A delicious three course meal followed, including: a choice of either prawn cocktail, deep fried camembert with cranberry sauce or melon to start and beef wellington, sea bass, chilli lime chicken or fish & chips for main. Classic strawberries and cream or chocolate brownie were the options for dessert.
Our Headmaster, Mr Simon Head, treated the pupils to some wonderful heartwarming words, where he cleverly weaved each pupil’s name into the speech.
With full tummies, our Year 8’s were invited to the Rec room, where there was a teachers’ surprise, followed by a dance that the Year 8’s had choreographed.
A wonderful evening was enjoyed by all and we wish all our Year 8’s the very best for the future!
