A party of 56 – 29 pupils, 23 parents and 4 staff, enjoyed a fabulous week on the slopes at Claviere in Italy over the New Year period. Ski lessons were held twice daily – one in the morning and one in the afternoon allowing everyone the opportunity to hone their skills. Evening activities were aplenty including; Awards Of The Day, party games, quiz night, games night as well as a memorable torchlit descent where all the pupils traversed down the mountain on skis in the dark whilst carrying lanterns!
New Year was seen in on the mountain with a magnificent fireworks display, along with outstanding food and hot chocolate on tap. Perfect. It sounds like there were plenty of falls but no injuries which is good news!
