‘Be An Artist For The Day’

On Saturday, March 2nd, we welcomed 10 children from various primary schools from around Salisbury to enjoy a morning of fabulous art. Our Head Of Art, Mr Jamie Clarke, provided all the materials and taught the children all about block printing and collagraph. The children listened beautifully and engaged so well with the challenge in hand and there was a great deal of enthusiasm for the glue gun! The pieces of art they created during the workshop were kept to dry over the weekend and were posted out to our budding artists a few days later. 

We will be running a series event over the coming months to include; Be A Scientist For The Day, Be An Actor For The Day and Be A Sportsman For The Day.
