Challenge 2024

From the start of 2024 and throughout the spring term, all of our pupils have been tasked with raising £20.24 to put towards our Astro Appeal and my goodness me, have they delivered!

Over the weeks, an amazing mix of sponsorship ideas have been seen, proving how each and every child has become fully invested in raising money for our school.

Some of the highlights include:

  • Gregory rolling his kayak 24 times in a row!
  • Brother and sister Nick and Clara helping with household chores and making cups of tea for Mum and Dad
  • Robbie earnt some of his money by hosting a bake sale at his football club as well as charging family and friends to his Michael Jackson concert!
  • Freddie cycled on an exercise bike and brothers Alastair & Jamie washed cars and cleared the garden of fallen branches
  • Siblings Jemima & Archie completed a triathlon with a difference – they ran for an hour, cycled for an hour and trampolined and pogoed for another hour!
  • Aidan undertook a Cooking at Home challenge and Hannah created her own sweet shop in order to sell bags of sweets at the hockey club
  • Sisters Phoebe and Amelie went through all their old books at home and created book boxes to sell to their classmates
  • Poppy, Annabel and their Mum spent hours digging and cleaning up their driveway
  • Millie created her very own sweet shop and sold delicious bags of sweets at hockey
  • Zara was another pupil who helped around the house with chores
  • Aaron Dickinson who is in our Nursery sold bags of mini muffins and raised a huge £52.50!
  • Isabella invited her neighbours round to her house for a flute concert
  • Esme and Freya potted a large number of spider plants and sold them at school and raised a whopping £75!
Well done to everyone who took part!
