Christmas Movie Night

 

Christmas has been in full swing at Chafyn Grove this week.  After a long term, what better way to get in the festive mood, than a Christmas movie for all!  Pre-Prep kicked started our movie extravaganza by getting cosy in warm onesies and Christmas jumpers to enjoy an early pizza supper, followed by a showing of the magical animated film “The Star”.  All the children were so excited, especially when the popcorn came out a bit later into the film! Parents were also invited to come and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie before pick up.

 

The Prep school relished in the Christmas classic that is ELF.  Always a popular choice for all ages – Will Ferrell continuously making us all laugh with his silly exploits.  Pizza and popcorn were also devoured by everyone during the movie and parents were also invited to the school library to meet and catch up over a mulled wine.

 

After both movies, parents waited patiently, to see who had won our wonderful Christmas hampers. There were 17 hampers up for grabs, thanks to all the generous donations by parents. A fantastic evening thoroughly enjoyed by all and a whopping £2,500 made for our Astro Appeal.
